Katie is a freelance dance artist, teacher and choreographer based in Scotland. Originally from Aberdeen, she trained at Rambert School, and worked with Rambert Company during her third year.
Since graduating, Katie has worked with companies and artists including National Theatre Scotland/Lies Pauwels, Company Chordelia, Scottish Opera, Simon Fildes/Wyn Pottratz, Barrowland Ballet and she worked on Turner Prize winner Tai Shanis’ DC Seminaris. Katie is currently working with Éowyn Emerald and Dancers. Katie has created work for multiple festivals and events across the UK including Manipulate Visual Theatre Festival, the Aberdeen Artists Society, Scottish International Storytelling Festival, Hidden Door Festival, Dance Live Festival, Dance International Glasgow and for the Peoples Post Code Lottery’s international charity gala with special guest Sir David Attenborough. Katie is currently associate artist with Company Chordelia.
