STRONGHOLD

Stronghold - a commission from Dance Base for Now Here This in 2020 . Katie collaborated with artist/choreographer Lewis Normand to begin to research themes of absence and presence, taking inspiration from the architecture from within the Dance Base building, and from conversations with people who use the building. For this work, Katie and Lewis collaborated with musician Signy Jakobsdottir, dancer Millie Thomas and film maker Lewis Landini.
